The operating system for hospitals and clinics

Hospital management system for busy Indian OPDs

Doccine is the operating system for hospitals and clinics in India. Every doctor, the reception and the admin team work on one patient record, each seeing only what their role needs. It starts with the hospital's OPD; inpatient care (IPD) is coming next, in the same patient record.

Many doctors, one record

Every doctor sees the whole patient

A patient seen by the physician and then the surgeon has one record. Each doctor sees the medicines the patient is on from any doctor in the hospital, and the allergies recorded by anyone.

  • One patient record across departments
  • Medicines from every doctor checked together
  • Each doctor's own queue, calendar and timings

Staff and access

Everyone sees exactly what their job needs

Owners, doctors, reception and admins sign in with their own accounts. Reception never sees a doctor's unfinished prescription.

  • Owner, doctor, reception and admin roles
  • Invite staff in a minute; remove access in one click
  • Works on desktops at the counter and phones on rounds

OPD control

The whole OPD, watched for you

Out-of-range vitals are flagged before the patient reaches the doctor. Long waits, double bookings and visits left open at the end of the day are shown, not hidden.

  • Vitals flagged at the counter
  • Long waits stand out
  • Open visits listed at day's end

Billing and reports

GST billing and a dashboard for management

Bills, part payments and dues for every department, and a morning view of visits, collections and follow-ups for the management.

  • GST-ready bills
  • Dues and part payments
  • Visits, collection and follow-ups at a glance

Doctors' calendars

Every doctor's hours, breaks and leave

Day, week and month views for every doctor in the hospital. Drag a visit to a new time and Doccine warns you if it is outside the doctor's hours or overlaps another visit.

  • Each doctor's timings, breaks and leave
  • Drag to reschedule, in 5-minute steps
  • Today at a glance for the whole team

Lab reports

Reports reach the right doctor, abnormal values first

Reports are kept in the one patient record every department shares. Critical and abnormal values come first, and tests advised but not yet received are tracked.

  • Critical and abnormal values first
  • Advised tests tracked until the report arrives
  • Results waiting for review flagged

Questions doctors ask

What does a hospital management system do?

A hospital management system (HMS) keeps a hospital's patients, doctors, staff and money in one system: registration, OPD, prescriptions, reports, billing and management reports. Doccine does this with checks that flag what needs a decision.

Does Doccine handle IPD (inpatient) care?

Doccine runs the hospital's OPD today. Inpatient care (IPD) is coming next, in the same patient record.

Can different staff have different access?

Yes. Owners, doctors, reception and admins each have their own login and see only their part of the work.

Where is the hospital's data stored?

In India, securely, private to your hospital. It is never sold or shared, and you can export it anytime.

Can we move from our current hospital software?

Yes. Our team moves your patients and records from your current software or Excel, free of cost.
