Founder's note
I finished my MBBS in 2014. In my first months of practice I saw the part of medicine nobody teaches us: the paper token register, the report that never came back, the patient who waited an hour because nobody knew he had arrived. The care was good. The operations around it were broken.
I chose technology. I did my master's in Computer Applications and spent the next ten years running a technology company, building for multi-million and billion-dollar companies outside India. I learned how the best organisations in the world run on systems that think ahead.
In 2020 I started Doccine to bring that standard to Indian healthcare. It failed. We spent lakhs, learned hard lessons, and by 2023–24 I stopped development completely.
In 2025 I started again, from zero, with everything I had learned from building for the world and from failing at home. Doccine today is not a record-keeping tool. It is an operating system: it notices, checks and remembers, so that doctors can do what only doctors can do.
That is my promise to every doctor and hospital that joins: Doccine carries the operations, and leaves the medicine to you.
